After graduating from the University of California in Irvine, with a degree in International Studies and Business that originally, was supposed to set me on the path of becoming a diplomat, until I realized that 'being a diplomat' wouldn't quite create the kind of 'jet-setting' freedom life I imagined.
So, without knowing what else to do besides getting a job after graduation - because that's what everyone else told me I ought to be doing - I landed a job at AON as a business analyst.
It was a lot of computer work. Not the kind of computer work I'm doing now. By a long shot. It was looking at a bunch of documents, filling in information, filling out spreadsheets, and a whole lot of other beaurocractical, corporate bullcrap, to be honest.
Even though I liked the people I worked with, this was NOT the life I imagined for myself. On some days, I felt like I was dying a slow death inside. Figuratively. I felt myself getting depressed. I knew I needed to get out of this corproate gig, but I had NO idea what to do, or how to even make money online!
It wasn't until one day someone told me of Fiverr, and freelancing. A whole, new world seemed to open up to me! I was exhilerated. But it took me over a year to figure out how to go from selling $5 gigs to $997 gigs and even then, I couldn't close multiple 4-figure, let alone 5-figure projects.
But it did teach me a lot of things on offer creation, and 'selling yourself'. I took what I knew, niched down on something I seemed good at - digital marketing and funnels, and went outside of Fiverr.
A few more years passed, passed with lots of tears, ripped out strains of hair, sweaty sleepless nights because I had not idea how to cover my monthly fixed living expenses, etc. until it felt like I had cracked the code and hit 6-figures in my business that year!
Not only that, I lived that desired 'laptop lifestyle' and worked on my business from all over the globe.
I went on to surpass that number, and after a few more years, especially after becoming a parent, I hacked how to not only close high-ticket projects, but also, how to grow a sustainable service-based business.
And I'm so excited to share all of my knowledge with you guys, inside Funnel Pro School!
